Such a fun hike to do with family and friends. In the spring, the wildflowers are absolutely beautiful. I recommend wearing hiking boots because the pasture can get extremely muddy due to rain. It’s usually very busy with foot traffic during this time, but well worth it. If you are interested in going to the bottom of the falls, I HIGHLY recommend taking the trail down on your left hand side once you reach the top of the falls. It is much easier and safer than scaling the cliff the entire way down. There is a trail marker on the left hand side of the cliff that is fairly easy to spot. Take a picnic and enjoy the nice weather! Definitely worth your time!

Fun hike for a family! Pack a lunch and sit at one of the many benches on the loop or even find a spot for a picnic. Also many photo opportunities!

This was such a fun and easy hike. Definitely a hike to take the kiddos and pups on. I highly recommend taking a short detour through downtown Nevada City to see the shops and eat some yummy treats! Definitely a hike that you can turn into a fun little day trip!
