I first stopped by Seppmann's Mill which I wasn't too impressed with but made for some unique pictures and interesting history, reading up on it on site. The waterfalls were also nice. I visited in late summer and pretty much had the park to myself, very well kept, and worth the visit if you're trying to escape.

Although this photogenic bridge is beautiful in person, a great picture is definitely about the timing of day/lighting. We drove the whole route early in the morning leaving me with a very foggy picture which made it unique, but something to think about!

My family and I have stopped here every time we drive to Chicago. Check out some of the other dune trails this park has to offer then hit the lake to cool off!
