A dramatic chain of mountains in the Southern Tyrol region of the Italian Dolomites. A stunning backdrop and 360 panoramic views of the distant mountains everywhere you look, a true can't miss stop in Northern Italy and easily accessible by cable car.

From the town of Urtijea take the Seceda cable car up, it costs about $15 each way but it's necessary to get to the top. Once at the top follow any of the trails to find a wide variety of vantage points points all along the top of the mountain.

Some of the best spots for photography would be down a narrow rocky ridge just below the big "cross", the cross is nearly impossible to miss. That is where a good majority of my photographs were taken.

For camping out overnight in order to protect yourself from the wind and elements set your tent near the ski lift station. There are many flat grassy areas all around to stake yourself in.

Always practice Leave No Trace ethics on your adventures and follow local regulations.
