10/10 recommend if your local or visiting from out of town. Bring your own water as they don’t sell water on site. Extra wide hydro flask won’t fit in the water pouch when riding so be mindful of what size bottle you bring, if any. Happy trails 🐎

Google map directions were accurate. Road wasn’t bad. Accessible via a sedan. Beautiful views. A little chilly once the mountains shadow cast on the east. Take some snacks, plenty of water and your loved ones and have fun 🏔

Some nice viewpoints along the way, overall a great corridor with relaxed camping at Three Bears Campground ⛺️

This was the first state park I ever went to as a child. It sparked my interest in the outdoors and has been a place of refuge for me as I've grown up. I will forever be grateful for this wonderful space that I am so blessed to have so close to home. 🙏

It’s been years since I’ve been here, but I’m making it a priority this year to get back out there asap.

3/5/22 - Backpacked with the intention to sleep by the lake. After about an hour and half of hiking, the snow was about a foot deep. Without snowshoes at the time I decided to just set up camp and call it a night. Low key night. Excited to come back later this spring when more of the snow melts. Be safe and have fun y’all

Near Corvallis, with lots of trails surrounding this one, it’s perfect for an early morning stroll with a friend or some family. Saw a good amount of bikers and some cool pups 🐶. The trail starts across the street from the parking lot. If you take the first right at the first split off of the trail be mindful to check the gpx track to not miss the switchback looping back. I walked right by it for about a mile and ended up turning back. Not much of a detour but still 🤷🏾‍♂️. Have fun out there!

Worth the challenge for anyone who wants a view. 💪

Perfect place of your trying to avoid the crowds and just have the seclusion of a forest service road and your thoughts. Excellent for runners who want some elevation, or a group of friends who just wanna hang. No benches or porta potties near by. Closest food, post hike is in Monmouth/Independence or Corvallis. So just keep that in mind when your going out 🤷🏾‍♂️ Have fun 💪

Most accurate directions can be found if you search “Miller words conservation area” in both Apple/Google maps. Parking lot has two porta potties (1 is ADA accessible). No dogs are allowed and there is a QR code you can scan if you would like to provide any donations to the conservatory. Lots of directional and informational signs so you don’t get lost/have lots to learn about the surrounding wildlife/trees. The trails a little muddy at times but it’s nothing crazy your going to lose your boots in 😂. Overall, this was a last minute visit and it was just the escape I needed from the city. Super calm and very pretty. Have fun out there!

Great trail with a killer view. If you have a smaller car and go in the winter be prepared with chains or to park before the snow level gets too deep. The trailhead begins at a chain linked fence and has a steady incline through out the hike. There are some fallen branches along the trail, but it’s nothing you can’t walk over. All in all it’s a beautiful space year round. Be safe and have fun!

Went for a morning sunrise hike. It didn’t disappoint. Met friendly trail runners along the way. Kind pet owners. All around good vibes 😎
