Kelly Canyon Trail in Ririe, Idaho is a well-known hiking spot. The trail spans approximately 3.78 miles, offering a moderate level of difficulty suitable for most hikers. The path winds through a dense forest of pine trees, providing ample shade for hikers during the summer months. The trail is marked by several unique features. A small, clear stream runs alongside the trail for the first mile, providing a soothing soundtrack for your hike. About halfway through, hikers will encounter a large rock formation known as the "Canyon's Crown." This formation offers a challenging climb and a panoramic view of the surrounding area. Hikers should be prepared for a steady incline during the first half of the trail, with the path leveling out after the Canyon's Crown. It's recommended to bring plenty of water and wear sturdy hiking boots. The trail is well-maintained and clearly marked, making it a reliable choice for both novice and experienced hikers.
