Outbound Tested: BUFF Makes the Ultimate Temperature Control Headwear

One of the most essential items for any outdoor activity.

This last April, myself and a few friends of mine set out on a HOT adventure. Traveling from Colorado all the way down to Baja California, Mexico. Our goal was to leave the mud season behind and grab some ocean views and hot desert sunshine. Now if you're anything like me, being cold is one thing, but being too hot is a whole other ball game. So staying cool on this trip was going to be key for us all. We had the waters on deck and coolers stacked, but when you're driving 18 hours through mostly desert and your A/C is broken in your adventure rigs, windows just don't seem to cut it.

As stated, we had many items to keep us cool, but after this road trip I've learned that nothing will stand up to the test like my BUFF UV Guy Harvey did. I mean the concept was simple, but man did it do the trick. More so than an ice cold bubbly La Croix, getting my buff wet and keeping it on my neck or wearing it as a headband can bring you from feeling a 110 degrees to a breezy 70 degrees! I can't tell you how many times we did this, stopping in gas station bathrooms to soak our buffs, keeping our cooler stocked with ice cold water and dunking our buffs in there, or better yet being on the beach and getting some fresh ocean water to cool you off. We even stopped at a creek crossing and took advantage of the cool water there to soak our buffs to continue enjoying the sunshine. Seriously getting your buff wet is the best use you can have for a hot day! Post trip, I even keep it handy for my everyday activities to make sure I stay cool in the summer sun.

Now on top of it all if you have a hat to go along with your buff, the sun can't beat you. You're in prime time mode. The BUFF Pro Run Cap was light weight and incredibly compact. It literally took up no room and has a stylish fit even after its been sitting at the bottom of your backpack. It's sleek under-brim design is also pretty impressive if you ask me.

From here on out, I will always bring my BUFF gear on adventures. It'll not only keep you cool on the hot days but will keep your face toasty on the cold ones (I can vouch for this on all my winter endeavors)! Not to mention, regardless of the weather this gear keeps you protected from the UVs.
