This run is for advanced paddlers only. It is mostly class IV river. Full of pushy water, big rock boofs, and hidden drops! If you have the skills this river is a non-stop blast. It pretty much runs roadside the whole way so you can easily hop out of you put on and realize it's over your head! I had to do that my first try down. It doesn't release often so when it does it is full of paddlers which adds to the navigational difficulty. For those that don't want to paddle stoping alongside the road at bear creek falls and watching the paddlers is quite fun on its own! Such a beautiful place.

This is a relatively short hike with some serious rock scrambling to get out to the chain but it is worth it. The views are amazing and that giant chain is pretty great.

Well we went to Cumberland Falls to paddle board from the beach area to the main falls and then someone told us that you could get to Eagle Falls by crossing over the river and floating slightly downstream. So we tried it out and we were glad we did. A short little hike to a beautiful little waterfall! You can get behind it and look out over the large rocks lining the Cumberland River. Worth the visit for sure.

Hiking to the Pinnacles at first just seems like a nice walk through a beautiful forest. However, as you make your way around the loops you are led to amazing vistas that overlook Berea. Breathtaking views of this beautiful area Of Kentucky. The hiking is pretty mild and the trails aren't too long. It's great for all ages. You also get to go through the sweet little town of Berea to get here. Stop by Boone Tavern restaurant for some famous local spoon bread while you are in the area!
