An amazing beach with incredible views of the Na Pali Coast.

Driving to Polihale Beach requires a vehicle with higher clearance, but not four-wheel drive (though 4WD will make your ride more comfortable). The roads are bumpy and in some places sandy, as well as incredibly remote.

There are bathrooms with outdoor showers near the parking lot, but other than that it is a remote beach, it is as far west as you can commercially go in Hawaii.

The water has a strong current, so strong swimmers should be the only ones to play in the waves. However, the beach is beautiful white sand and is perfect for building sand castles and laying in.
