This is a beautiful, safe trail with amazing views, enjoyed by dog walkers and bird watchers alike. Sadly though, it's poorly maintained (by the City of Warrenton/parks dept.?). If one is looking for a good run or brisk walk be prepared for a poorly maintained trail. First half mile from parking lot is excellent, with each 1/2 mile it gets more overgrown and more potholed. So sad, I really wish the city took better care of this gem.
