Sunrise at Reddish Knob

Dark gives way to light

By: Hannah York + Save to a List

It's 5:30 AM. Bundled up in flannels, coats, hats, and scarves, we head to reddish knob to watch the sun rise. When we get to the top of the mountain, it's freezing. Wrapped up in blankets we huddle together and watch the sun begin to make its journey. This beautiful orb of blinding light is raising, raising from behind the mountain. It keeps coming, getting bigger and bigger, bathing the world in more and more light. The darkness is soon find forgotten and all that is left is a world full of light, full of hope, and renewal. A new day has begun.
