Hiked here last night just before sunset, awesome place. Only saw two people there. Go during the week.

There were a ton of people (as it is a super easy hike), and you cannot get very close to the arch, you must stay behind the fence.

It's bit a jaunt out to the Joint Trail, but it is well worth it! There are few people, and endless views. It is super fun running around the slot canyons, and massive boulders.

Got some really gnarly shots of Longs Peak from here around sunset. Good place for the whole family too.

I did this hike with my family a few years back. The views from the lookout tower are incredible, you can see a few lakes from the top! Pretty easy hike, even if you are looking for a more intense hike, still check out the tower!

I was just going to go do this hike again to document it for The Outbound, looks like you beat me too it! If you are in the area you for sure have to do this hike, it is like Horsetooth rock with a lot less people! Great views of the city!

The hike through the trees is amazing. There is a part of the hike in the valley, that has boardwalks because it is somewhat marshy. We saw a black bear there, pretty rad. The hand tram was my favorite part for sure. It was cool to pull ourselves across the river, with the rapids underneath! If you're in Girdwood, you gotta do this hike!

I went in the summer... There were about 3 people on the trail, we went late afternoon. The falls are amazing. Make sure to bring an ND filter if you want to photograph the falls!

I did this hike with the family a couple summers ago, I really enjoyed the hike. We got there in the early morning, and some what beat the crowds. It is one of the closest hikes to Anchorage, thus a lot of traffic. Still worth fighting the crowds for the views.

We went in March after skiing in Whistler, very awesome, no-one was there. Somehow you can get down to the base, we couldn't figure it out.

We entered the park as everyone was leaving due to severe weather. This was no high mountain summit so we went in! We got down to the canyon floor and there was not a single soul in sight. We got some awesome photos!

It is crazy to think that there are waterfalls in Illinois. If you are in Chicago, take the trip down to Starved Rock for the day! The waterfalls in this canyon and many others are incredible, go in the spring run-off season for the best waterfall flow!

Went here with a few friends for the day. The views from the top are incredible, we set up some hammocks in the trees near by and hung out for an hour or so. If you're in the Dells or Baraboo area, you gotta stop at Devil's Lake!

Went here with my mom, we really enjoyed the hike there. Lots of wildflowers, trees, prairie grasses and deer. Make sure to check out the tower in the park. The view from the top is amazing!

The road to get to the trailhead is very narrow and sketchy, be aware. Very beautiful place, not too many people when I went. Would have liked to go see the waterfall up close.

We started early, there were quite a few people on this one, as it is an easier and popular summit due to location relative to Denver. Beginning of the hike is very cool!

The trail head starts above treeline, from there its a pretty mellow and easy hike to the summit. You also pass some old mine shafts and operation buildings, cool to see them still standing (barely), part of our history here in Colorado.

We started before sunrise for this one since we were planning on doing all 4 Summits that day. After our summit of Democrat weather got bad and we went back to the trail head. A couple got engaged on top just before we summited.

This is a very very popular hike in Colorado because it is easy and so short to hike. Try not to go during the middle of the day, especially if you want good photos.

We hiked here for sunset and to photograph it for sunset. There were some tourists that kept standing under it to take selfies durning perfect light. It was funny to hear all the fellow photographers gripe and yell at the dang tourists to go away since they were ruining the shots. Only other photographers would understand, haha.

This was a super nice park, campsites were very nice. We went to Dead Horse Point early in the morning. Its like it's own mini-Grand Canyon, pretty awesome.

In general, Capitol Reef doesn't get a ton of visitors, so crowds are not as big of a problem here. IF you go early like we did, there will be little to no-one. It was awesome. The only other people that were there were repelling down through the arch to the road, pretty sick.

Try going early or late, we went middle of the day as we were driving through. It is an amazing hike, just try to dodge the crowds. The hoodoos are super rad, very unique geography.

One of my favorite hikes I have ever done in my life, that being said the trail is very narrow up top, and difficult to maneuver with huge crowds. I went in March, coming down was awful do to the amount of people going up. GO EARLY
