High Falls State Park in Georgia

Jackson, Georgia

Description

Added by Kendra Isbell

With a beautiful view of a dam and a hike down the side of the falls - this spot in Georgia is worth a visit!

High Falls State Park in Georgia is a cool state park that you have to see! Park at the High Falls parking area ($5 fee) and take in the views. There is a beautiful dam at the top with a picturesque lake to picnic beside plus a playground for the little ones. You will cross the road to the trail and hike down beside the falls. There is also a nature trail. It is beautiful!! Be careful to stay off the falls though as you will be fined a hefty fee for climbing on to the rocks and in the water due to the dangers of the falls.
