The views from the top are worth it, but man, my lungs were seriously working to get up there!

Don't give up! The hike is not very long in terms of miles, but keep in mind the humid and hot temperatures. The last miles seemed to take forever, but the waterfall is really gorgeous. If you don't mind walking over some stones, you can actually stand below the waterfall and refresh yourself. I loved it!

Great hike with great views! If the clouds are in your way, just give it a couple of minutes until they disappear. Unfortunately the loop that connects the Nu'alolo Trail with the Awa'awapuhi Trail is still closed due to maintenance. I stayed a night at Koke State Park which is a nice and quiet campground, though a little colder than the campsites along the beaches

This is definitely a gorgeous hike and great for getting a glimpse of the Na Pali coast. I definitely recommend to watch the sunset after the hike at Ke'e beach before heading for dinner to the [Dolphin](http://www.hanaleidolphin.com/index.htm). Try the chef's roll, it's not on the menu!

Santa Cruz is the first of the Channel Islands I visited, very remote and beautiful. Very different from the landscape you find in California, lush rolling hills. The boat ride was a great experience too, watching dolphins and even a whale playing in front of our boat. I would definitely recommend spending a night here and strolling around on the recommended hikes!
