Hike and reflect on the beaches where the greatest generation started the end of WWII.

The beaches of Normandy and the Omaha Beach D-Day Monument and Cemetery cover 172 acres dedicated to those who lost their lives on the offensive. Hike along the beach and bluffs of the French coast. The grounds contain the remains of 9,387 American military personnel. Walk around the endless monuments, reflective pools, chapels, and statues dedicated to remembering one of the most difficult times in our nation. Interactive maps and a beautiful museum on the grounds describe the beach landings and military operations throughout Europe.
