Relatively easy hike, short but steep incline on rocky path. Snow packed in sections during the spring/early summer. Gorgeous views and glacier offers opportunity for great fun! Even brought a sled for the niece and nephews!! Suggest going in the morning to avoid the crowds and afternoon thunderstorms.

Great start to the hike, cool small waterfall. Trail was washed out or seemed to just fade out near Sagamore Rd. and Canal Rd. (south of the creek) this could be because I hiked early spring. Actually had to cross Sagamore Creek twice, with no bridge so be prepared to get wet.

Amazing experience! Hike/trail is flat and easy but finding the perfect spot in the river (and parking) can be difficult as the area tends to get busy in the middle of the day, but what doesn't in Yellowstone:) The Boiling River blends with the Gardner River, you need to find the sweet spot where the two mix creating the perfect temp. Make sure to check out all of the blending areas as there are more than 1 and some areas might be less busy. I'de suggest morning or late evening to avoid crowds.
