Hike Le Centenaire in Parc National du Mont-Tremblant

Tried to do this hike at 7am June 21, 2020 and got completely turned around by the blackfly/mosquito tag team. I’ve done lots of hiking and have never been so completely annihilated by bugs! We barely got 500m. If you’re going in big season (Mother’s Day to Father’s Day) bring long sleeves, big spray, and netting or suffer the consequences haha.

Canoe or Kayak at Iles de Boucherville

Paddling in these islands is simply amazing. Having your own SUP or boat lets you stay out later. There’s an automatic gate so no worries about getting locked in. On a good day the sunsets are fantastic. A greater concentration of wildlife than I’ve seen anywhere in Quebec. The classic grand heron loop takes about 3 hours, but if you paddle hard maybe 2. Check the winds before you go.
