We enjoyed this hike up to Steven Lake. There is a little hidden waterfall off to your right as you ascend up. We enjoyed the change of scenery a long the way! The lake was stunning just like other alpine likes are. The Peak in the distance is gorgeous. Hope to be back there when it is warmer!

One of my favorite hide aways in north eastern Washington. The lake water is a beautiful turquoise color. The wildlife is abundant. I believe every time I have been here, I have spotted at least one or two mooses swimming or walking along the shores. We backpacked into the second campground where you have to scramble down a creek into a private little valley. It is a well covered spot with a private beach. It's our favorite.

Loved this gorgeous hike! It's glute workout up the hill, but well worth it. Take sometime to walk the sandy beaches of lake too!
