Pack light. The 1/4 mile trail to the pool has a lot of steps and is very rocky. Also make sure to reserve your spot a few months in advance. It is worth the drive and very relaxing once there.

View the Milky Way at Curtis Cove Beach

Great little rocky beach to view the Milky Way. You will see two little posts at the beginning of the walkway down to the beach. It will be very hard to see, but trust your instincts. :)
