Great spot to stop along the Kancamagus. The falls are really pretty and easily accessible. Make sure to check out other viewpoints and rapids down the road. During fall note there can be intense traffic along this road so be prepared.

Awesome trail, plenty of viewpoints, and a great visitor center at the tallest drivable location in the park. Make sure to take plenty of time to hike and take photos along the way.

Great Rocky Mountain hike that takes you along a number of lakes in the park. Be sure to start your day early and pack lunch to eat at the lakes. Be on the lookout for wildlife as well.

Great spot for photos and to enjoy coastal Maine. There are plenty of spots to hang out and eat lunch near the lighthouse.

A great site to see the sunset, just be prepared for crowds. The lighthouse is beautiful and there are informative displays detailing the history of the building. Also ensure you park in a legal spot else you may find your car towed when you get back.

Great section of the Presidential Traverse taking you from Madison Spring hut across Mt. Madison, Mt Adams, Mt. Jefferson and finally up and over Mt. Washington. If doing this hike I recommend taking two days one night to fully complete the Presidential Traverse. Truly a great experience.

Great hike and the trail to Mt. Washington is top notch. This hike can easily be completed in a day and in my opinion offers the best scenery on the way to the summit. Make sure to also stop at Lake of Clouds on your way.

Great hike whether you are coming from the train at the summit, hiking Crawford Path, or doing the full Presidential Traverse. Make sure to stop in at Lake of the Clouds for a snack if open and also photograph the lakes themselves with scenic views looking out onto the Whites.

Be prepared for crowds and tour groups but also be ready for beautiful scenery. The fall colors are great and the hike is fairly moderate. This particular viewpoint overlooks the ski resort across.

Awesome hiking in remote Grafton Notch. When fall season, the colors of this region are amazing. The Table Rock hike is steep and sustained but views are well worth it. Make sure to come down the easier back side which loops you back across to parking lot. As noted, there are some caves to explore as well in addition to the waterfalls down the road.

Screw auger falls is beautiful, especially when framed by fall colors. Be sure to walk and photograph from a variety of viewpoints. While remote you are near Sunday River and Newry Maine.

Great experience and amazing views throughout. General mountaineering knowledge is needed however this is far less technical than Rainier. We climbed the Pearly Gates variation and enjoyed it a lot! Be sure to check in at the climber station and to ensure you have proper equipment. Overall we started our climb at 2am and were down back to the car by 10am.

Devils punchbowl and the Grottos make for a great visit on Independence Pass. The Ice Caves are can't miss and are awesome to see in the summer. Lots of waterfalls and other rushing rapids here.

Great hike along Independence Pass. We stopped here for lunch and a short hike. If you have a paddle board many people were using theirs here. Be sure to also check out a number of other viewpoints along the pass.

Great hike, easily accessible from the main parking lot at the park, and the views of Boulder are incredible. This trail leads to many other rock climbing and scrambling locations. Depending on the time of day the sun hits the Flatirons for great photos.

Awesome trail that takes you through many of the main areas of the park. This loop trail is great, not too difficult, and easily accessible from the parking lots. Note in the summer arrive early to beat the heat

Cool spot in which you get great views of Longs Peak. Be sure to combine this trail with longer options circling the spires in Garden of the Gods. Parking is solid here but the location does get crowded with tour groups.

This is a great spot along the Silver Thread Scenic Byway. Be sure to stop at both North Clear Creek (viewpoint) and South Clear Creek (short hike). They are really great for photography and it is almost always quiet here due to the area being remote.

What a great spot and truly the "Switzerland" of the U.S. Take the trail from the lower parking lot and hike past three waterfalls before you get to Bridal Veil Falls. A great morning activity the power of the falls is incredible to see. A great place for photos and always great weather in the summer.

Great add on to your visit to Telluride. While skiing the resort, hiking near the waterfall, and exploring town are the focus, take an hour to see Cornet Falls which is right on the edge of town. Quiet little spot with plenty of cool red rock.

Really cool drive with plenty of viewpoints of the ancient Pueblo dwellings. Be sure to book at least one tour of either Long House or Balcony House to fully experience what life used to be like for these people.

This is a must see destination. Located out on on a more remote mesa than the rest of the park these sites are incredible. To view the sites be sure to book a tour with the NPS ahead of your trip. The hike itself is very easy but be sure to have plenty of water with you in the heat. Once at Long House it is much cooler and shaded and you have the opportunity to fully walk around and explore the rooms and caverns that people lived in. Ask lots of questions and enjoy the history!
