Parking lot available. Parking is $5 - cash only. However if your vehicle is registered in Boulder county then it is free. Once you enter through the gates, I suggest veering towards the right to capture the mountain views. We started on the left side and our backs were to the mountains when we did the loop. It is not steep - fairly flat. Lots of bikers and walkers. Beautiful view.
