PNW & wet go hand in hand but even on a beautiful dry afternoon be prepared to walk under tumbling water and across heavy streams. Also important to note the main lot that you reach is about a half mile walk to the trail head rounding out this hike just over 5 miles out and back.

One for the books! I ran this portion of the Wildwood Trail just as the first snow of the season began melting away. After reaching Pittock Mansion, I detoured to avoid all the fallen trees and ran down Burnside. I was surprised to see the road entirely closed to traffic due to more fallen trees!

Golden hour on Turtle Hill is not to be missed. Even if the fog has rolled in, the experience is one for the books. You'll be wrapped in Karl and still have epic views of the crowds of home in the neighborhoods below.
