Winds Whistled Passed This Window - Hiking the Windows Trail in Arches National Park

I will never forget this day where time stood still

By: Demetrios Varoumas + Save to a List

Hiking the Windows Trail in Arches National Park, crowds started to diminish with a storm brewing above. I took the gamble of sticking it out with rain drops falling. Followed by the cool breeze and no one to be seen, I was the only person here silently standing by this window waiting patiently for this view of openness to paint the sky. My mind just stopped in awe and was able to enjoy this with no ambient sounds of chatter. Playing a reel of how many millions of years have passed, allowing the earth to create such beautiful structures you can’t find anywhere else on this planet. I will never forget this day where time stood still. I am humbled to be able to share with the rest of the world what is was like to experience Arches National Park.
