Explorer at heart, I want to do it all. Caving, mountain biking, climbing, hiking, mountaineering, and anything new I can learn are all in my sights. I am currently training to become a commercial pilot.

This waterfall is smaller but still very gorgeous. For a leisurely hike just follow the gravel trail from the parking lot directly to the bottom of the falls. To the left of the parking lot there is a longer trail that runs up the ridge of the mountain and offers some great views of the surrounding area through the trees. Follow the signs for the falls to end up standing over the edge watching the water rush down. I recommend going after a good rain for better waterfall pictures.

Oak Mountain State Park provides a true mountain biking experience for any skill level of rider! The range goes from the tricky, technical Jekyll and Hyde, all the way to a bump track. There is even a dirt jump track on site. I would highly recommend biking here alone or with the whole family! After biking there are many other things to do including archery, kayaking, peavine falls, golf, and a nice little cafe!
