This is a great place to catch the sunset, but this area can get crowded. Be sure to keep an eye on traffic as well

I was hoping to complete this hike while in Costa Rica but it has been permanently closed and is illegal to access.

The hike is short but the hike out is steep and can take a lot out of you. The pool at the bottom of the falls is deep and perfect for cliff jumping off the surrounding rocks.

This is still an area relatively unknown to tourists. The pools are great for relaxation. With temperatures varying from pool to pool, it's easy to find something comfortable to soak in.

A popular hike in Bryce that and a great way to see the hoodoo's. It's especially beautiful in the winter.

This is a popular hike with a campground nearby so get there early before the parking lot fills up. The hike is relatively flat but through deep sand. Keep an eye out for petroglyphs and granaries on the way to the falls. The falls are beautiful and worth the visit.

This is a large beach and great place for a swim with camping nearby. Great place to bring a family.

The hike up to Angels Landing is a fun one. After going up the switchbacks called Walters Wiggles the trail quickly becomes treacherous. This is where the narrow chain section that makes this hike famous begins. Just take you time and enjoy the views.

The hike to the slot canyons is very exposed and sandy. Be sure to bring a lot of water. Once you reach the slots be prepared to wade through cold murky water than can be waist deep or deeper. Zebra slot canyon becomes very narrow very fast. To get further back into the canyon you will need to do some stemming up the canyon walls.

I really enjoyed the hot springs in Gold Strike canyon. I hiked in from the river and did some exploring. Great spot.

Canoe camping along the Black Canyon water Trail below Hoover Dam is always a blast. We camped at Arizona Hot Springs and paddled to the other canyons to explore the springs and waterfalls.

Although the campground is quite large and busy, it is conveniently located within walking distance to the ranger station and bust stop. This made it convenient for picking up permits from the ranger station and to jump on the shuttles into Zion Canyon.

Yankee Boy Basin is absolutely beautiful. There are several off road trails that run through this area. Great place to explore and photograph.

The campground is conveniently located near several popular trailheads in the Vermillion Cliffs area. The surrounding scenery is beautiful.

This is a nice campground along the Burr Trail in GSENM. The campground is small but has nice trees for shade and is situated along a creek.

I recently visited Lambs Knoll with a group of friends to do some canyoneering. After we finished the short canyon route we went over to the climbing area for a short climb and a rappel. It's a great area for all skill levels.

This is a great hike and a Zion Classic. Unfortunately there has been a toxic algae bloom this year in the river. You can hike up to Big Springs before having to turn around. The lower portion of the Narrows has a lot of hand prints and names written on the canyon walls. It's quite sad really. Remember to leave no trace!!!

The hike is short but steep. There is a nice swimming hole at the base of the main falls. There is another swimming hole above the main falls with a smaller waterfall. This is a popular area for jumping and swimming.

The Burr trail is a beautiful drive. I took the ferry across Lake Powell then drove the Burr trail into GSENM. There was so much to see along this drive. I stopped for several hikes along the way then camped above Long Canyon.

The scenery changes drastically as you make your way down the highway. There are pine trees, vast canyons, and unique rock formations.

I camped in Valley of the Gods with an incredible view of Monument Valley in the distance. It's a great place to camp while on a road trip to Utah.

The views from Muley point are incredible. Great place to camp and watch the sunset/sunrise.

I love stopping at Goldfield after a day of hiking to get ice cream in a fresh homemade come. yum! I've had dinner and watched the sunset from the saloon as well. Go earlier in the day if you want to catch the gun fights in the streets.

This is an easy way to see the park. There are Saguaro's everywhere. Great for visitors not from the area.
