I visited the hot springs by hiking up from the river. This is a fun canyon to explore and the springs are perfect for a relaxing soak.

This was a fun place to explore high up in the mountains. We had the entire place to ourselves. It was fun trying to imagine what this castle looked like in its prime. Amazing views!

Paria is one of my favorite places to photograph. The colorful mountains are beautiful. Be sure to stop at the pioneer graveyard when visiting.

The hike up to Tahquitz Peak is difficult due to the elevation change but the views from the top are amazing. The fire lookout tour was pretty cool to see.

This is an easy and popular hike in Zion Canyon. It's worth the stop as you explore Zion Canyon. I stopped at Weeping Rock before hiking to the top of Angels Landing.

This is a good way to see the park if you're short on time. I stopped on my way home from a camping trip so I didn't do a lot of the longer hikes in the park.

The dome was very crowded but worth it. The views of the city were incredible and it was really cool to see the artwork on the inside of the dome up close.

This is a good place to bring kids to see dinosaur tracks. The sand is really deep getting here though so only attempt this with the proper vehicle.

This is a great place to come to relax and take in the scenery. The walk around the lake is short but peaceful.

The hike to Havasupai is a tough one but so worth it. I've backpacked and camped here on four different occasions. Its such a fun place to explore.

One of my favorite fall hikes. The trees through this area are always beautiful as they change color. Be sure to explore the area surrounding the spring.

This is one of my go to hikes during the cooler months. Unfortunately a wildfire recently burned through some of the surrounding landscape.

The beach at Playa Concha is beautiful and secluded. I spent the afternoon relaxing and searching foe shells along the beach.

This hike isn't as well known as some of the other waterfall hikes. The waterfalls are beautiful and quite impressive. I had the whole area to myself on my visit.

This hike takes you through the desert to some unique rock formations and hoodoo's. It feels like you're on mars.

The springs have grown in popularity but it's still a great place for a soak. Get there early or stay late for privacy.

This is a great way to see Venice and the surrounding islands. I really liked watching the glass blowers create sculptures in Murano and the colorful houses on Burano.

I feel like a gondola ride is a must do when visiting the city of Venice. We found one away from the main area that offered us a reduced price for a ride through the canals. It was a fun way to see the city.

This is a good area to access Lake Mead to go for a paddle or to hang out at the beach. There is no camping here but it's a great place for a day on the lake or a quick stop when traveling past Hoover Dam.

This is a nice place to stop when traveling through GSENM on Cottonwood Wash road. On my most recent visit I was sad to see there were a lot of names and initials carved into the stone under the arch. Please remember to leave no trace when visiting.

This is a nice hike but due to an abnormally dry monsoon there hasn't bee any water in the creek. There is also some areas of burned vegetation from a recent wildfire that swept through the canyon.

Rafting down the Pacuare was one of the most amazing experiences. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking with many waterfalls along the way. The water was refreshing and the rapids were a lot of fun. On my next trip I want to stay at the lodge halfway down the river to make it an overnight adventure.

This is a great stop on the Million Dollar Highway. I've stopped here many times to take pictures and stretch my legs on the travels through Colorado. I've never actually soaked in the pools as they looked murky on my last visit and I was on a mission to get to camp after a long drive from Arizona.

This is a great stop along the highway just outside of Bryce Canyon. There are some great photo opportunities along this short trail.
