Hike to Dismals Canyon Falls

We have been twice during the summer and while it is such pretty scenery and especially for kids to get in the water it costs WAY too much just to experience nature! For me, my husband, and our 4 small kids we paid over $50 to get in!! There are also no bathrooms anywhere near the canyon, so be prepared to walk a good way if you need to use the restroom. The only one is located at the parking lot, so make sure you use it before you go. Also the access down into the canyon is not in the best condition and though my 2 year-old was able to walk it, the wooden stairs are not something an older person would be able to manage easily
