Plitvice Lakes National Park is the largest of Croatia's eight national parks. The Park represents a phenomenon of karst hydrography.
Jack and I rented a car when we landed in Split, Croatia and drove right to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. From the parking lot to the water fall was a short downhill 15 minute hike. When you got down there the trail stretched in multiple directions and there was way more to see then just this one water fall. Jack and I decided to hike up and around the water fall and through the forest finding amazing views to enjoy. There were even some ledges we were able to go out to and view the falls. On The way out as it was getting dark we decided to explore the caves which we had no idea about. Luckily we had a flash light and walking into the unknown as an amazing experience and caves always seem to spook me.
