I can be found outside more often than not, drinking a beer more often than not, and/or cooking something tasty more often than not.

Did this with two of my friends today while the weather in the Pacific NW is still cooperative! Got to the trailhead around 11:30am with a mostly full parking lot. Chugged pretty quickly up to the top and were back to our car by ~3:30pm. The path can get mucky and wet at certain spots, so watch your footing so as to not slip. Lots of rocks, lots of huge steps. Your glutes will thank you/make you cry by the end. Great for the views, the peacefulness, and the enjoyment of nature!

Did this during the Summer of 2013 with friends, and Jake! It's incredibly easy to get to if you're already in the Tahoe area, it has a great vantage point for epic Tahoe sunsets, it's nearly silent except for the rush of the water, and there is plenty of space to spread out and think. Worthy!

Very straight forward hike. Went in mid-July and the trail was relatively well kept. The dust was pretty high, so it was difficult to distinguish a trail at times, primarily when the trail is wooded. Great views of the valley surrounding North Bend, however, and can be done pretty quickly. Worth it!
