Super awesome trail that's close and similar to Chataqua Park but without all the crowds!

This is a super awesome hike in Boulder - a shorter loop that starts with a pretty steep incline, but has access to some great views of the Flatirons and the city of Boulder.

The hike begins with a trek up some natural stairs through a meadow with a view of the Flatirons to your right and the city of Boulder to the left. After what feels like a lot of steps (but not actually too bad), you start to walk through this really cool forest and head towards the Flatirons.

Eventually you will end up in Chataqua Park and have the option of branching off onto multiple other trails; however, if you continue on this trail it wraps around and ends near the creek. The actual trail ends near the Amphitheater in Chataqua, but to get back to the main trail head it's just a little stroll through one of Boulder's cute neighborhoods. Added bonus: the wild flowers in the late Spring.
