Genesee Dr is located in Genesee Park, which is one of the largest parks in the Denver Mountain System spanning over 2,400 acres. A short 35 minute drive from downtown Denver promises a tranquil drive and hike with a high probability of seeing large herds of elk and buffalo. This is a fantastic location for a picnic, camping (pay), and photography. Also a good stop for first time visitors to Denver for a quick detour to see large elk herds.
From Denver, head west on I-70 and take Exit 253. Turn left on Moss Rock Rd which turns into Genesee Rd. The paved road is a large circle that passes beautiful open space and homes that provide protection for the large grazing herds of elk and deer.
The dirt road is a larger loop that circles Genesee Mountain which features miles of easy hiking trails and trail bathrooms.
