Hike Pedestal Rocks Loop

This hike has some great views and very interesting rock formations. Not too hard to get to the trailhead either, but still pretty remote. We did this hike in summer not thinking there would be much grass in this area but the trail was overgrown and we got into ticks even though we were stopping periodically to check for them. I would highly recommend tick repellent and possibly even long pants. Also, the views of many of the pedestals would be better when the leaves are not on the trees. Don't let this stop you, though, the views are worth it! Just be prepared. Oh, and don't miss King's Bluff trail while you're there! (Same trailhead)
