It's crazy this river oasis has such easy access in the midst of one of the busiest and congested parts of Birmingham. Once you paddle up stream just a little from the highway you might as well be in the middle of nowhere! Some great rock cliffs in this stretch with decent fishing and several rope swings for the adventurous.
