Explore the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge

Free suspension bridge crossing Lynn Canyon,an alternative to overcrowded Capilano Suspension Bridge.Great photo opportunities and close to Vancouver.
Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge spans Lynn Canyon and is located near the popular Lynn Headwaters Park. To get there, exit the Trans Canada Highway onto Lynn Valley Road. Shortly after passing through the centre of the Lynn Valley community, turn right onto Peters Rd. This road will turn into "Park Rd." and parking will appear almost immediately.
The actual bridge is very close to the parking, it will literally take you a minute or less to get to the bridge after you park. I would recommend that you venture out to the bridge on a rainy day if you want the bridge to yourself. You may still run into a few people here and there, however, there is a good chance you and your company will have the bridge to yourselves.
The bridge offers a great chance to get some shots, however, try to enjoy your time there and soak in the peacefulness. The creek will be rushing below and there is a nice waterfall you can see from the bridge.
This is a hidden gem in the Vancouver area and a nice alternative to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. You can also hike the Lynn Canyon Loop if you're looking for more exercise.

Really beautiful...but I was expecting more than one suspension bridge. I would recommend going early as the crowd to get across the bridge is a little hectic. The trail is absolutely gorgeous and the swimming there is phenomenal. If I lived near by I would hands down spend a lot of time there

Favourite Spot for sure!
One of my favourite spots to go. Always in "down time" when it isn't as busy! Crowds can get to be a little much here, so try to go on a weekday morning if possible!

Great Year-Round
I love Lynn Valley! It's so accessible, so I can take friends that aren't into hiking long distances. It's great year round. I love the mysteriousness of fog during the rainy season (which is most of the year in Vancouver). And when gets warm enough in the summer, there are a couple of swimming holes to jump in! The only down-side is that it gets pretty packed in the summer. The price to pay for accessibility.
