Description

Added by Ian Tyley

Take a short, 1km roundtrip walk to this stunning 70 metre waterfall.

Brandywine Falls is a spectacular 70 metre waterfall. It is best seen from the viewpoint which also presents some marvelous views of Daisy Lake and the surrounding mountains. But you can also get to the bottom with a bit of scrambling down the side of the cliff.

Brandywine Falls is located along the Sea To Sky Highway (Highway #99) between Squamish and Whistler. Located just 11km (7 miles) south of Whistler on the east side of the Sea To Sky Highway, Brandywine Falls is easily accessible with a large parking lot and markings to the start of the short walk to the falls.

This is a great place to stretch your legs on highway 99. The only lame part is that it can get pretty crowded and when you are trying to take a picture of the falls people tend to get in the way. And don't hike or scramble down to the bottom of the waterfall because that doesn't follow LNT principles and you are crawling under/over a fence.

Super beautiful waterfall but the viewpoint on the ridge don't give you a good photo opportunity. I guess if you're okay with very deliberately breaking the rules and scrambling down it's probably really cool from below

This is a great pit stop off the Sea-to-Sky, it's a relatively short walk to the viewpoint of the falls. Keep in mind, it's not technically legal to hike down to the base of the falls and you could face a fine, but that's up to you.
