Description

The Cypress Falls trail is great for those wanting to experience the freshness of waterfalls, without having to commit to a 5 hour hike.

Cypress Falls Park is tucked away in West Vancouver. A stroll on the park trails include some of the biggest trees found on the North Shore.

Cypress Creek slices it's way through the lush trees of the park and provides two impressive waterfalls. Unfortunately, the trails within the park are poorly marked, and there is more than one route to reach the falls. If you just follow the trail from the parking lot and then beside the creek though, you should be fine. It's more of an adventure that way anyhow!

As Cypress Falls Park sits at a lower elevation than most of the other hikes around, it is easily accessible throughout the year and is family-friendly (You can bring your pup!) It's a great hike to save in your back pocket, for those inevitable overcast and or rainy Vancouver days. The terrain itself isn't challenging and, takes roughly about one to one and a half hours to complete.
