Relaxing at Sloquet Hot Springs

Description

Added by Emily Masse

Drive-in location. Multiple natural pools with varying temperates. Quiet and relaxing. Old growth forest and lake views.

Nestled between Harrison Hot Springs and Pemberton, the Sloquet Hot Springs are a great place to unwind. With multiple natural pools, it is easy to settle in and enjoy a beer, or my winter favourite, Baileys and coffee. If things heat up too fast, take refuge in a lower pool or cool off in the river. Embracing the natural element of the place, it's not unusual to see others in their birthday suit, don't hesitate to join in if that's your jam!

The FSR from Harrison Hot Springs is rough and jagged, offering an adventurous route, compared to the groomed Pemberton side.

Relaxing at Sloquet Hot Springs Reviews

Highly recommend booking a campsite ahead of time, well maintained sites and allows you to fully experience these pools. Nothing beats a soak under the stars.

We snowshoed into Sloquet mid winter (the road isn't plowed past the main turn-off) and it was pretty great.. needless to say, we were the only ones there :) It's a bit weird to take off your entire snow suit and climb into the water but it was a great adventure!

Sloquet is a little more "family friendly" so not sure if birthday suit is a good call. Skookumchuk Hot springs which is on the way via in-SHUK-ch road is more birthday suit friendly :).
