Wow, what a trip. The loop to Elsay Lake was one that I will never forget! We ended up completing this hike over two days, with an overnight on the water. It rained the ENTIRE weekend that we were hiking, and it made for a very difficult (and slightly dangerous) hike. The first day is spent descending from Mount Seymour to Elsay Lake, and we were slipping down waterfalls that spouted out of nowhere, due to all of the rain! On the way home the next day, we had to hop across rivers that had risen may feet over night. From personal experience, I recommend going on this hike on a SUNNY weekend!!! Nevertheless, it was very fun and very memorable :)
