St. Marks Lighthouse is one of the more picteresque locations on the pan handle imo. It is also a great spot to spread blanket and have a picnic with your lady friend, confirmed.

A County Park covers the entire bottom half of Lido Key, with beaches, swimming and picnic areas and hiking trails. Just north of that, is a county ran boat launch and kayak rental programs where you can explore and paddle with a group or on your own through beautiful and scenic waterways entangled by mangrove trees. It is an essential Sarasota and south Florida experience.

It is real easy to pass Matador Beach as you are traveling California, with entrance an immediate turn off of the Pacific Coast Highway, yet almost immediately after turning you are greeted by a Matador beach in its picturesque glory: majestic rock formations and sea caves, with mighty waves crashing on the shore. It's a very easy place to miss, but the sights you will witness are hard to replace.

"Explore" is such an excellent word choice: this protected and well managed area is represents and stands for raw untreated, Florida wildlife. With hiking trails, kayaking and canoe launches into the inter coastal and miles of beaches, and even a educational and research center, Guana River is a place definitely worth exploring.

Hanna Park is a true gem and treat. It is an isolated, beautiful, unique location that truly showcases the coastal wildlife local to North Florida. It has an atmosphere that just absorbs you into and makes you wonder how such an spot is so close to the city of Jacksonville. Aside from boasting great hiking trails, Hanna Park also has a beach which offers great waves and is a lesser known, but popular surfing hot spot and capital among knowledgable locals definitely worth sharing!!
