The East Point Trail is a 14.7 mile day hike or backpacking trip on Santa Rosa Island in Channel Islands National Park, featuring incredible ocean views and opportunities to see marine life.

The trail will take you through Lobo Canyon and onto a rocky coast. There are great picnic spots all along this rocky cliff. Rock formations line the trail. You can backcountry camp on the beach at the end of the trail, or head back to the trailhead. This trail is open year-round. In the spring, wild flowers are abundant.

Wear layers - the trail can be windy and foggy in the morning and evening. Bring lots of extra water (it is recommended to almost double the amount you will think you need).
