When it comes to the outdoors, I am a jack of all trades, but master of none. Life revolves around taking the path less traveled by.

This is a fun little hike right off of the highway. Be aware that many cars are broken into at the trailhead because it is so easy to access.

This is a great beginner hike to take kids on, but in the summer this place gets busy!

Because this lake is hidden by the tall peaks surrounding it, it creates a nice blockage from any light pollution. This makes it a great location to view stars!

If you like to ski or snowboard, this is a fun loop to do when the highway opens after winter. The loop has a nice bowl around Lake Ann with lots of available steep runs. Make sure to know how to navigate in this type of terrain due to being avalanche prone and quite a ways away from civilization.

This lake sits just below Black Peak, which stands at 8,970ft. The lake makes a great place to set up camp to climb this beast! Also, you may run into snow until July so make sure to check conditions before heading up.

The lake is absolutely beautiful this time of year (early Spring) with very few people camping around the lake. Currently the trail is covered in blow-downs from some of the winter wind storms we have had. Until the trail is clear, be prepared to climb up and over trees for about a mile after you reach the bridge across the river!
