I found this place because a friend I follow on instagram went there last week(july 2016). When I saw their pic I was super excited about going here. Then I read the reviews on this site and was super sketched out thinking that I would be arrested or something. Well I decided to go anyway and it was amazing! It's seriously beautiful. Super easy to walk to and not very dangerous. The only thing I would recommend is swim shoes because walking into the falls the rocks underwater are rigid and slippery as expected. But I managed to make it into the falls barefoot. It's less of a hike than constitution marsh, if you've been there. Like I've been wanting to take my mom who is 63 and out of shape to constitution marsh but she would definitely have a way easier time walking to this. The only hard part is actually getting in the water, which requires balance so that you don't fall on the slippery rocks that are underwater. It was seriously an amazing experience and there are signs posted that say "no swimming" but I think that's just so the state isn't liable since they own the land. When we were leaving an entire coach bus showed up with children on a field trip who were going to the falls. It's pretty safe. The worst that could happen is you slip while trying to walk in. There's no jumping area so you don't need to worry about jumping from a high distance and being impaled. It was one of the nicest, purest waterfalls I've ever been to and I plan on going back in a few days. I recommend it to everyone and can't wait to go back. Also oh yeah right underneath the waterfall there's a rock you can sit on and let the water fall on your back and massage you. When we went some old guy randomly popped out of the woods by himself and swam to the rock and let the water fall on his shoulders for like a half hour and then asked if we wanted a turn. Definitely try out the waterfall masseuse! Have fun!!!!!
