The stairs down to the lower level were closed due to flood damage, but you could still hike down to the upper half of the falls. We had a great time walking through the water and sitting on the ledge for a snack. Walk was steep but fine for my 2 year old to join us. Very fun hike, worth the drive!! There is also a small picnic area as well as a playground for kiddos!
