This hike is ideal for those with dogs that are in the Estes Park area visiting or otherwise due to not being able to hike within the park with them. Great views at the end and the the incline doesn't seem that bad. There are several rocky areas to sit on the way up if needed that offer nice picture spots as well. Close to other trails (not dog friendly) and of course the breweries in Estes Park. For a good post hike burger head to Grubsteak and try the Yak burger. Yes, yak burger, you won't be disappointed with it and a nice cold local brew. Head on into the park to explore but pop back out for a quick hike to stretch the two and four legs...
