This trail is mainly accessible by driving to the trailhead along a longer dirt road. It is well worth the views, and you will not be disappointed. Recently, I actually made it to the Roost and stayed overnight in the cave. Waking up to the Sunrise was a once in a lifetime view. The hike is short, but you can mess around taking in the views all over the rock, and I suggest checking out many different views!

The trail is located in West Sedona. The hike is through the Fay Canyon, and is an easier hike. The parking is across the street and you can access at least 5 different trails from it. The trail is filled with great views, but it is fairly short, and leads you to a rock face. Some people were climbing up the rock face, but most chilled and enjoyed the views. Cheers!

If you are in the Sedona area, then you should definitely try and visit the west fork. It is generally touristy at times, but if you can get there when there is minimal traffic on the trail, the views are amazing. You will have to pay to park directly at the trailhead, if not you can park in other areas along the roadside and walk. The creek flows through and you will have to cross it a few times, but it is generally pretty low with rocks to help you cross. The trail is also pet friendly, so bring your friends!

This is one of the more popular trails/hikes in the Phoenix area. The crowds will be out in full mass for this trail each day, so get there early! The echo canyon trail is the tougher hike, as you can also use the cholla trail on the other side. Take the temperature and heat in mind, pack water! Dog friendly trails, and upkeep is very good.

This trail was an easy stroll up the mountain to a pretty good view of the East Valley. The Wind Caves carved out out the mountain were pretty cool to see up close. It's also a dog friendly trail which is nice. Few for parking, and make sure you go early! It was super crowded!

This is a steep incline right from the start on some slippery surfaces. Make sure you are prepared for a challenge. The climb is well worth the views!

Loved this challenging Hike with my dog! The views are amazing, and the altitude will definitely give you challenges.

There is free parking at the general Broken Arrow parking lot near the trail. There are also many different trails that range in difficulty that connect to the Broken Arrow trail. There is High on the Hog as well as Hog Heaven and Twin Buttes. Great views, and very photographic scenery!
