I have always been a traveller, right down to my very core. From the moment that I could walk (and even before then), I have been an adventure at heart and that is something that remains today to be a significant part of who I am. Something that I have learnt time and again over my years is that you can really expect to be able to live your best life when you are willing to let go of every expectation that you had for what it may be. And something that is true for me than ever before is that I am happiest when I am doing something that I am passionate about and something that I am truly passionate about is travel.

Recently, I went on a four month road trip around Australia. And during this trip, I left my laptop at home, having used my annual leave and unpaid leave for a much-needed break. I took my iPad though so I could draw. And throughout that four month period, something that I was consistently finding myself doing was not only drawing inspiration for little doodles of designs on my iPad but I was building a business model in my head that I had even begun to get off the ground. It was initially an inspired little side project and evercents somehow it has taken off like I never imagined that it would.

A wild series of events unfolded. And now? I am switching to the remote work lifestyle after wishing and wanting to do it for so long. The pursuit of remote work is something that has appealed to me from the moment that I was in university and even before that however I had no idea what a start and so I committed to a job in a field that I knew would pay me well and I decided that I could pursue travel more openly in more consistently after that. And now, I am truly living my dreams like never before. It is opening up doorways and windows that I never thought would be possible and introducing me to a whole new world. I have never been happier.

Today, questions like “how much does online therapy cost?” and “ how am I going to get through this week?” I no longer seek hard questions and answers. In fact, I have no questions. My travels throughout Australia on the road have allowed me to see my home from a whole new perspective and in more debt than I ever thought was going to be possible in such a short time frame. And I have been inspired by this landscape in a way that has allowed me to build entire collections around designs that I have taken from the earth and from this incredible landscape.

I have completely transformed my life in a matter of four months and I have been incredibly fortunate and very lucky that it has taken off like I never expected it to in such a short time frame. Now, I travel full time as a remote worker who creates every day. He has built a thriving business that continuously goes from one string to the next with relative ease and transparency more than I ever dreamed.of. And this is very much just the tip of the iceberg. Not only am I going to explore more of Australia this incredible play cycle home but I will do so for the rest of the world as well. And I could not be more excited or more grateful for this life.
