Hike the Riverplace Nature Trail

3.5 Miles Round Trip - 1800 ft gain - Out-and-Back Trail

River Place Nature Trail Trailhead - Search Nearby - Added by The Outbound Collective

This 3.5 mile hike with 1800 feet of elevation gain makes for a great workout close to town.

This is a great trail to get some exercise close to downtown. The trail is well maintained and has a stairs and plenty of elevation gain to make your legs a little wobbly by the time you get back to your car.

Be sure to bring plenty of water as this trail can get hot in the warmer months. And keep in mind that this is an out-and-back hike, so you'll have to put in the hard work on the way back as well.

Great Little Trail

Nice neighborhood trail, the little fern offshoot was very pretty. My dog loved all the swimming opportunities closer to the trailhead. If you're looking for a secluded hike this probably isn't your best bet, we saw many other trail runners, hikers and pups on a Saturday morning.

Great Challenge

So much stairs!!! I loved this challenge and would definitely recommend. The trail was right alongside the river and was just beautiful. Jogging while getting to hear the water flowing is the best!

Good trail. Little waterfall on it. Not that long though.
