Honestly the hike to the Y is brutal and way steep but it is way rewarding. The trail keeps going on though and that's where the scenery gets really pretty. I would recommend this hike to anyone especially if you're at BYU.

Hike the North Summit of Mount Timpanogos

By far my favorite hike here in Utah County. The first time I went I was under prepared so pack more water than you think you'll need. I would say hike the Timpanooke trail. It had better scenery and shorter and not as difficult. But either trail is going to be amazing!
