The formation of this waterfall is gorgeous! It may be my favorite in the area. I would definitely like to return after some rainfall and see it a little more full. Highly recommended!

I would definitely recommend skipping this hike. The trail is in rough shape from the high volume it sees. It appears to be a VERY popular camping trail. There are camp sites the whole way along. There is also trash everywhere it's disgusting how people leave it. There are far more beautiful places to see this would be last on my list.

Nice, leisurely hike to these falls. Afterwards go a short walk or drive further down Burrells Ford Rd to the trailhead on right. It's slightly hidden but there are signs about campfires. This trail takes you for a short walk along the river and after crossing a creek take an immediate right and climb a few switchbacks to reach Spoonauger Falls!

Attempted to hike to these falls yesterday but was unable to make it. The first field had tire tracks that you could follow but by the second field it was very overgrown. Easily up to my waist and over head at some points. There is also a large cage trap set up in second field. If anyone goes out and the fields are cut please update would love to go back and try again!
