Description

This dog-friendly trail takes you up to the caves to explore and is relatively easy. If you want to climb higher for better views, the hike becomes more challenging.

This is a great trail for a run or for stretching your legs exploring the caves in Usery Mountain Regional Park. Keep in mind that the trail leads you up to the cave and is the end point. To get better views of the area, you'll have to climb up past the caves, where the trail is not marked.

Hike the Wind Cave Trail Reviews

Good hike just to get outdoors. Usery Park and the McDowell Mtns are a nicer part of the desert, so it's worth trying at least once. The wind caves are cool to see just to quell your curiosity. Watch out for snakes. Be very careful in the summer even though it's an easy hike.

It's just a good all around hike. Great for beginners

This trail was an easy stroll up the mountain to a pretty good view of the East Valley. The Wind Caves carved out out the mountain were pretty cool to see up close. It's also a dog friendly trail which is nice. Few for parking, and make sure you go early! It was super crowded!
