I did it with a couple of friend over the weekend (First of July). We were told that the weather at the top was not nice (20F and 50m/h wind), but we decided to hike 'till the Hermit Lake lodge and than decide if we want to continue or not. The sun was coming out when we arrived at the lodge so we decided to make it to the top. The beggining of the final ascension thru the rocks was fine but the last mile was horrible. We could'nt see more than 20ft ahead and the wind was so strong we needed to hide behind rocks for some time. Still the view before that was breathaking and I'm glad I make it to the top! Would definetly try to come again on a better day!

Nice walk. We didn't have any phone with internet neither gps with us ao we could'nt find the entrancs, but we manage to made it by our own trail. The view at the pond is really nice and the walk is pretty easy! There was so many bugs, by chance we had a repelenr with us, but still they were not leaving us alone! Nice and quiet place. We were the only one up there!

The view on top is worth the hike !

Being from Montreal I could say that this stop is unavoidable on a trip to Montreal. The panoramic view on the city is amazing, espacially at sunset and the hike to go there is quite easy. Could be really crowdy on sunny days and during the weekends, but its worth it. It is also a perfect spot for a picnic and a good way to start exploring Mount-Royal.

Definetely one of my favourite destination in Italy. I went last summer and most of the trails between the towns were closed but we had the chance to go walk a bit. The view and the sunsets are amazing and worth the detour ! Would love to go back one day :)

Love it ! A friend of mine who's now living in Vancouver brought me there during my last visit. We had a lovely day, even if the temperature was not the best (I went in february when it was a bit cold and raining). Would say that the place is a bit crowdy, but I'm glad that I went. The vegetation there is incredible :O !

I discovered this place last may when I was going on a small trip to hike Mt Lafayette. We decided to reach the lake on our second day, when our legs were a bit tired after our previous hike but the ascension is quite easy. We enjoyed the view at the summit and it was a perfect hike to do on our way back to Quebec. Would love to stay in the hut one day !

It was my first hike in New Hampshire and I love it. There's plenty of waterfalls and they are just getting bigger and bigger as you reach a higher point in the trail. We did the loop up to Mt Lafayette using this trail and the view at the top is work all the hike ! Would definetely recommand it and come back ! It was supposed to rain the day we did it, but we really had great conditions until we reach the summit when it started to hail. Catch a small thunder storm on the way back, but it was still an awesome day!
